News - 100th Anniversary

It is with great pleasure that my first memo of this year is to inform you about some of the developments in connection with the 100th anniversary of MetaCorp.

We are planning to combine a Celebration of the Company's 100 Years of operations with the opening of the Gloria Theater at Eagle Beach in Summer 2020.

The Celebration program continues to be refined but will include:

• An indoor reception for banking and commercial relations and government officials; and

• The CENTENNIAL CONCERT for 10,000 including employees, their families, friends, and other invited guests. The announcement of the main attraction will follow shortly but expect there will be over 100 musicians.

The Gloria Theater will include 10 auditoriums, including an IMAX, three VIP rooms, and 6 other luxury cinemas, parking, multiple restaurants, and a kids play area. We all will be proud of this beautiful facility.

Thank you for all that you do and have done. You are the reason we can celebrate these milestones.

As many of you know, MetaCorp is the oldest enterprise in Aruba dating back to 1920 when the island's population was barely 9,000. From our humble beginning, we have grown with the population and local economy. We are proud of our contribution to that growth and the lives of our employees.
