But with the same taste and quality

In the last months, after the pandemic, businesses and consumers around the world have had to adapt to be able to steer through the challenges that the supply chain has brought with it, that the demand for certain products is higher that the production, aside from the lack in ships that can transport the cargo from one port to the other. From wood to wine, one way or the other, people are feeling the impact of this challenge.

There's a great shortage of glass bottles in the world, which also impacts us at Brouwerij Nacional Balashi, who produces, among others, the original Balashi Beer, also Chill, Magic Mango and Magic Orange. The impact is truly due to the difficulty in getting green bottles on the international market.

The challenge of shortages of bottles came right at the moment when the demand for the Balashi 'tapa cora' become greater than ever. The community likes the new concept, the perfected and cool taste of the fresh beer produced right here in Aruba. So, consumers are confronted that in the supermarkets there's not much sold, because they are already afraid they may run out, or they may hear that beer has ran out.

Seeing that there's no sure date in which we can receive a large quantity of green bottles again and we'd be able to continue supplying the growing market of Balashi, we decided to also add brown bottles to the production. The consumer will be able to enjoy the same beer, with the same taste from the same tank, bottled in two different bottle colors, but with the same red cap with the same quality.

You, as a consumer, can also help us in the cause by returning your Balashi bottles after use so we can recycle it. You can drop your Brouwerij Nacional Balashi products off at the plant located at Balashi or at the Tropical Bottling Carry-out & Drive-thru located at the L.G. Smith Blvd # 22 in Playa or also at the Doormanstraat # 5 in San Nicolas. We pay 25cts for each bottle and 6 florins for each complete box of 24 bottles of beer.

In case consumers can't get to these locations, they can send us a WhatsApp message on +297 5976533 and we'll pickup their bottles.
