Dear employees,


On Friday June 25, 2021 it will be Election Day, on Election Day according to the law every employee have a minimum of four (4) consecutive hours available to cast their vote. The employees have between 8.00am through 7.00pm during the times the polling station (stemlokaal) is open to cast their vote.


Here are some examples of the shifts and how to apply the working hours during voting:


  • An employee that works from 7.00am to 3.00pm should stop working no later than 3.00pm (+4 hrs = 7.00pm)

  • An employee that works from 8.00am to 5.00pm should stop working no later than 12.00 noon

  • An employee working shift, thus from 10.00am to 7.00pm should start working no earlier than 12.00 noon

  • (-4 = 8.00 am)

  • An employee that starts at 12.00 noon, already has 4 hours from8.00 am to 12.00 noon


Note: Supervisor / Manager plan that day accordingly in order not to jeopardize the operation.
