Update - Covid-19

10 June 2021

We are in the 6th month of the year with visible health and economic progress. The number of Covid19 active cases are coming down, the herd immunity for Aruba is at 65% and for MetaCorp and subsidiaries it is at 78%. Hotel occupancy is on the rise and reaching normal levels compared to the year 2019, while construction projects are getting started. DVG has eased restrictions, and Aruba welcomed the first cruise-ship this week.

With these positive developments, Management informs that we will go back to 100% working schedules and will pay the salary for the month of June in full. Over the last 15 months difficult decisions were made to preserve jobs and guarantee the continuity of our company. This would not be possible without our employee's support, understanding and cooperation. We would like to thank each one of you for your trust and support throughout these difficult times.
