And guess what? Our founder Shon Eddy chose the open field next to Pension Aruba, the island's first guest house (later renamed Hotel Colombia) to show movies to the public. If you look close enough, you can see the screen. The audience brought their own chairs and crates to sit on under the stars and paid ten cents to watch probably the first full length film in movie history "The Life and Passion of Jesus Christ".
